The Sawzall comes up as $209, and shows the free battery promotion, but says that deal is sold out...

How did you get that as $115 with a hack?

Hey Mike - the $209 price was for the Sawzall, 5.0ah battery, and then your choice of an additional "free gift", the best choice of which was a 6.0ah battery. The "hack" is returning the "free" battery that has a receipt price of $93.44. That brings the price for the sawzall and 5.0ah battery down to $115.56.

Thank you. Too bad it sold out, I'd have been all over that deal, even without the hack!

I couldn’t resist and just hacked a grinder w/5.0 for $82.08. Having a 2nd grinder will come in handy, not having to switch between cutting wheels and flap discs.

M12 FUEL 12V Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 1/4 in. Right Angle Die Grinder with M12 2.0 Ah Battery

$149 is an awesome price. I paid $135 in June without a battery. Straight one is $10 more. I'm so tempted, I have a $25 off $150 or more if I use my HD CC.
Under the current promotion, available till the end of today, if you manually add another m12 2.0 battery to the cart it will give you a better deal. For the tool and battery $103.76 and $45.24 for the battery. Select different stores to pickup from and you can do the hack.

Nice! Too bad it only works with the angle die grinder and not the straight one I don't have yet.

Thanks for the heads up. I had ordered a few minutes before your post, but was able to cancel it with no hassle. I then added a separate 2.0 battery to my previous order. I've never been able to checkout with items being picked up at different stores...has anyone else? I did ship to home and it looks like the battery will be here this week and the tool on Monday.

Bit easier less hassle to cancel the part of the order you don't want or need but it works either way.

I was lucky enough to get the die grinder. I also got the deep cut bandsaw for $197 by doing the hack with an impact driver. I haven't seen the deep cut that cheap before. I just looked and that deal is still available.

If you do any type of fabrication, it's fabulous. It's amazing how useful a 2" roloc disc is for soooo many things. It's probably my 2nd most used M12 tool behind my impact driver.

Dang, hadn't even thought of doing the "hack" that way...simply just cancelling whatever part of the order I don't need within the 45 minute window from when the order was placed? I'll have to remember that.

I didn’t think the cancel before 45 minutes worked anymore.

You are all a bad influence lol. I bought the right angle die grinder with the intention to do the “hack” the other day and I just bought the 3/8 fuel high speed ratchet. Thanks for the heads up.

I don't get why you'd want to return a battery though? I have 6 or 7 batteries and could use several more.

Wait for what? I've had the M18 and M12 lineup for over 10 years, only have 3 or 4 M12 batteries and maybe 6 or 7 M18. Have probably 25 tools.
Damn near every tool I've ever bough has come with a bonus battery. At this point I've got so many M12 batteries I've given a few away to my friends. I don't quite have the same amount of spare M18 batteries but I've got about as many as I actually need. I've returned a bunch of M18 batteries for their refund value. M12 batteries to but I've just ended up way more free M12 batteries overall.

I only have four M12 tools and I already have enough M12 batteries. I have three chargers. Granted, I bought a battery deal from Home Depot back when I had two M12 tools and only one battery. It was a 3.0, a 6.0 and a charger for $89 back around the holidays last year.

I got one recently for the equivalent of $85 or $89 with the return free battery hack. I think the new twin battery blowers are out so the old ones are getting cheaper. I’d like the new twin for more serious work. Have 2 of the regular M18 Fuel.

What do they normally cost these days not on sale? Looks I bought mine in late 2018. I got it from my local HD for $99. I'm guessing that was a sale price but I remember seeing it at that price for a while.

Got the new gen M12 Drill and Driver kit from Acme. Also used a $10 promo code.

Ordered this new gen M12 Fuel Drill and Driver kit from Acme. Hard to beat the price. You can apply this code and save $10 - 'TCC10'.

Home Depot M12 make-a-bundle (3 tools, 3 batteries).
Try: 1/4" hex impact driver 2553, 1/2" hammer drill 2504, right angle die grinder 2485, 2-CP 2AH, 1-XC 4AH, charger, bag for $259

Kit is impact, drill, CP 2AH, XC 4AH, charger, bag. ADD free gift at right (a second CP 2AH battery is the only option). Below that select "Die Grinder" which is the right angle 2485. The price will change based on the add-on tool you select, most options didn't look as good. The impact and drill are not the just released versions. For those interested cart shows 2 items: gift battery and all the tools/kit as other item.

Bare impact 2553 is $80

1005146382 3 piece is this a good deal. Had one at depot this a.m.
For what price? I probably wouldn't pay over $240 for that to be considered a good deal, mainly because of the saw included
