Anyone know of a deal on a ‎2745-20? HD is 379 and Amazon is 329 currently. I don't need one till the second quarter of 2023 but if there is a deal now I will pick it up early.

I just bought one for $290. It was price at $322 at theredtoolstore and there was 10% off with shopbare10 code. I think that deal is expired but look for similar deals over new year’s long weekend.

One online store previously had $379 list with 20% off but that equaled $304. On EBay you can find new in box for about $290 plus $15 shipping.

If your Home Depot has any of these kits left they are now ringing up at $169.99. Great deal!

Thanks! Snagged one today!

Me too. Thanks for the heads up!
What model number is the kit you guys are getting? The picture shows #2554-21HO which is the tool + battery + charger and is showing as $249 at my local store. #2554-20, which is the tool only, shows $199 at my store (and maybe will ring up at $169?).

The #2554-21HO showed up as $250 on Home Depots website and said that it was out of stock at my store. When I went into the store, I found 3-4 of the #2554-21HO's in the Milwaukee M12 display area. They didnt even have price tags, but when the store associate checked the price, it was $170.

Id go in and check your local store. I could even find the set on brickseek when I looked.

The info in my post is accurate. This is an in store only clearance price and it won’t show up in stock online. This was a holiday special kit with the newest 5.0 HO battery and they must have had a tough time getting rid of them at the regular price. My local store marked them down to $199 first and then to $169. A smokin’ deal when you price out the bare tool and a battery separately.

I got a 2554-21HO for $169. It was in a clearance end cap way across the store from the main tool area. There was a bare-tool-only version in tool section, for $199 I think.

Thanks! Unfortunately, looks like there aren't any in stock at any store near me. Oh well, I should probably wait for an M18 impact anyway.

I'll probably regret this, but I'm REALLY trying to avoid M12 (so I can just have M18).

M18 works but I got to the point where some tools I wanted were M12 only (right angle die grinder, under hood light) and I started liking lighter weight and compactness if the power is sufficient. Now I have a bunch of both.

I know, everyone's been saying that. For 99% of what I do, M18 is perfect. If I start working on cars again, I can see where the smaller sizes might help.

Of course, it's sometimes all but impossible to get hand tools into some places under a hood.

I resisted forever. The camel that broke the straws back was a gift from my boy, a damn radio. Now I’ve got the 12v collection well underway and have no regrets.
I’m not sharing new info, but the fact that chargers exist that take both M12 and M18 batteries makes it easy to consider having both. I’ll add a plug for M12–-the size is so convenient. A lot of power for almost everything I do. I have an old Dewalt 36V set that I’m ready to retire and move to the M18 line-up for the things I need more serious power for (Sawzall, Impact wrench, etc).

In the northwest, there are none of the M12 #2554-21HO anywhere, but in my closest store where I went to grab the Dewalt 10 piece drill bit kits there was one left.

So don't trust the online inventory. It is almost never correct. Take a look around. I found one in the bottom of a Milwaukee cardboard pop-up that had some misc other kits.

M12 is where its at for working on cars. Right angle drill, ratchets, impact ratchets, underhood light. M12 tools are killer and worth every $.

Thanks…found one just a tad dusty locked behind a small gate. Recognized the 2554-21HO from your post but the wallet doesn’t thank u9CEE757C-D7BF-4F89-A16B-7793EC82C172.jpeg

I'm joining the club. I already have a stubby, so I guess this one will stay as backup just in case the old dented one breaks.

And yeah, check around cause they're showing up as out of stock everywhere near my area, first HD I hit had 2 mixed in with all the seasonal Milwaukee stuff, so definitely look around if you're trying to score one

None of the holiday promo packs ever showed stock on the website for stores, or allowed for pickup, just "limited stock" if they had it. One of those things that are supposed to drive traffic to the store.
This is one of the few times BrickSeek is accurate, due to the fact all stores got the same amount sent on each cardboard shipper. The store will only be off if they grew legs, but they seemed to have better security on these items this year.

BS links
$169 - M12 Fuel 3/8" Kit
$129 - M12 Fuel Multi-tool Kit
$99 - M12 Fuel Orbital Sander
$99 - M12 2.5/5ah batteries
$199 - M18 Fuel 2732 Circ Saw

If you live in Menards land, grab a Menards bag first for an extra 15% off

Since when does Menards carry Milwaukee?
They don't. But they have a bag sale that HD will match, mgrs were even sent instructions. Anything that goes in the bag 15% off, up to double the height.

Though you say that, ironically last year, several Menards received shipment of M18 fuel blowers that could be found on the shelf.

For me, having the same charger is a non-starter. I really just don't want two types of batteries, because inevitably, the one I need won't be charged.

I'm also not sure how useful that particular impact wrench would be. The M18 would be a lot more powerful, how often does a smaller tool matter on a vehicle suspension (where I suspect I'd use it the most)?

I DO like that the M12 tools are much less expensive. If I'd have started with those, I probably wouldn't own M18.

The M12 won’t be my impact wrench of choice with suspension bolts with 250 ft-lb. The smaller size is an advantage for cramped areas and smaller fasteners
