Milwaukee Rebate question

Filling out the rebate form for the free battery from the heated jacket purchase it states "Original sales receipt or invoice. Copies will not be accepted"
I bought this jacket off ebay from a hardware store, so there is no "original" sales receipt other than my email from ebay showing the purchase.
Anyone have issues getting Milwaukee to honor this?

not sure but usually rebates will not be honored for purchases through ebay. Not considered an authourized seller. You my try contacting the Hardware store and seeing if they could send you a receipt

I called Milwaukee yesterday and the seller on eBay is an authorized seller. Problem is, they don't offer a true "store" receipt. As I was talking to the guy he sent me an email with this:

67 HARDWARE 12/29

1 MILWAUKEE HEATED JACKET 199.00

PAID IN FULL


THANKS FOR YOUR BUSINESS

I guess all I can do is submit it and see if Milwaukee honors it. It is all they provide, and the email address has their business name in it.

What rebate is this? I have purchased a few milwaukee items in the past few weeks and have not heard anything about it.

Go to their website. They have all kinds of rebates listed. But this one was for a free battery if a woman's heated jacket is purchased around Christmas time. Something like Dec 15-Jan 15th.
Some of the men's jackets offered better rebates. Like free tools.

I had taken a look but dont see anything listed on their site, even with a google search or site search. Any chance you have a link?

I found the form while looking through Home Depots website. Does anyone know if it can be combined on another offer? On the HD website it says it can be combined but on the form it says it cannot be. I will be sending them an email but figured I would ask here too.

To the OP, I would just print out the receipt that shows you purchased the item. That's what I had done for the sunex rebate and that was fine. The rep said they were more concerned with the UPC barcode.

UPDATE: sent in emailed receipt from seller and they honored it. New battery arrived the other day.
