Ok about 6-8 months ago I bought a 3 piece set of the M18's it came with a 3/8 Impact rated @ 160 ft lbs a drill and flashlight combo well the impact is starting to lose power rather rapidly even using a brand new battery, I'm seeing M12 bit drivers running all over this impact. My question is has anyone here had problems like this with there impact. Does the 5 year warranty cover this type of problem? I am going to call them soon just wanted to get other peoples thoughts on this matter. Thanks

I have an issue with my M18 Fuel 1/2" impact. Bottom line, it's weak. I've sent it back to them and they've said it's fine.

I'm going to call a manager for it's not fine. Really, it *****. My M18 3/8" Fuel impact is almost as strong.

Otherwise, all of my other Mil tools are working properly.

More and more I'm pulling back towards air impacts. They hit harder, last longer, cost less and are lighter/more compact. The cordless wonder impacts from all brands just aren't getting it for me. I'll keep a cordless 3/8 impact for handiness and light duty but I got rid of my latest Snap On 1/2" monster lithium impact and am not looking to replace it.
