I'm guessing no but I figured I'd ask anyway...

So I really like the Milwaukee Shockwave bit sets but none of them come exactly the way I'd want them. No big deal as there are some basic sets that I can add to and make right for me but in order to do that, I would need to get some extra bit holder inserts. The have both the 1" type for smaller bits and 2" for longer bits.

Is there anyplace that sells them? Visuals added if helpful

Thanks

I was just looking into these too and also found them a bit elusive. Ended up buying another brands impact bit set from Amazon.

I recently got their Shockwave 3pc hex shank adapter set from Circle C supply though.

Kinda off topic but...I have such a hard time to getting those bit insterts to rotate. Is there a trick to doing that?

Pays to do a search on ebay, some cheaper, some with other options. Almost makes me want some, but first I'm going to check Home Depot for some complete sets.

I was wondering the same the same thing. I've got 4 different sets, I just move the inserts between cases to get them set up the way I want. Good to know there's some available for sale.

I just leave space between the rows so I can get a finger under the bits and lift them up. I really only have trouble with the shorter bits. Depending on how your case is set up, sometimes you can leave the short bits locked at a slight angle with the case closed.

That's the thing, Milwaukee doesn't make a "complete" set. Some sets are better then others but all of them are missing something I would want in there. YMMV as we all have are own needs and wants

I agree. My OCD wouldnt let me rearrange the kits when I got them, but now I think I am going to do what youre saying. Would be better than grabbing 2 different sets to get what I need. Damn OCD :eyecrazy:

The Shockwave bit cases come in both 6 and 8 bit widths, a detail I failed to observe when I purchased the ebay bit racks for my 6 bit cases...

Perfect timing! When its cold I get weary of doing small things...like sorting through a bin of bits for the one I need. I ordered an empty 8 wide Shockwave with some extra racks

Thanks for doing my homework for me.

I even found that I had $15 in Paypal credit laying around...spent!!!
