Not sure how hot of a deal it is but Acme Tools has a bunch of deals going at present. Specific to Milwaukee, they are offering several M12/M18 free bare tool deals with purchase of such-n-such M12/M18 combo kit. I know I cashed in on a similar deal from Home Depot last year; it was a great way to get into the ecosystem at a good price.

I jumped on this deal a few weeks ago. I needed a li-ion cordless drill, but I'm probably more impressed with the fan. The fan will run 4-5 hours on high with a 5.0 battery and it's more than enough air flow to keep me from sweating in 100+ degree heat.

2nd the fan being awesome. I have 200+ sub panels to change in a retirement community and it's an absolute life saver. I actually have that same drill kit for sale if anyone is interested but the fan is mine :)

The fan, vacuum, flood light, and blower are all tools I never thought I would be in love with as much as I am. Though the 2763 has my <3

That's a good deal for an all-fuel set. The new One Key deals with the free tool, the free tool isn't Fuel.

The free tool I got with the one key set was the fuel 7 1/4" skillsaw. 404.99 for one key hammer drill, one key impact driver and the skillsaw.

I've got a 50 dollar customer service discount coming my way and a 20 dollar store credit so I think I'll head to HD right now and see what I can find but I just about have every tool I would ever actually use at this point though. I could go for a 1/2 or 3/8 impact since the mentioned the 2763.

http://m.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M18-FUEL-SAWZALL-Reciprocating-Saw-and-M18-FUEL-7-1-4-in-Circular-Saw-with-Free-M18-5-0-XC-Battery-2-Pack-2720-20-2731-20-48-11-1852/207126724

Decent price for 2 cutting tools. Usually $200 each bare tool. Not the greatest price but I always consider the freebie additional cost the 2 batteries run anywhere from $75-130 depending who you buy from and if any additional sales.

I got the one key 449.00 with a further mark down to 404.99 and received the fuek 71/4" fuel skill saw free.

If they are still running that promo it's a decent deal. About a year ago you could get a free fuel sawzall or 7 1/4" circ with the fuel combo kit. Was $349 or $399 but there were better promotions on the gen1 fuel combo with 2 extra batteries for even less. I know several people including myself who bought that instead because it was even less @ $299. So I know there's a lot out there who needed the cutting tools.

A Milwaukee rep I met once told me the combo kit are the best selling Milwaukee item they have by a large margin. So I imagine there's a ton out there

Usually when CPO tools runs a promo I've seen it as low as $159 new but $179 I think was buy 2 bare tools and get free battery or 2 pack XC 4.0 battery. Not sure what they have now but that's probably best I'd seen. They run promo codes on bare tool sales all the time

I bought a fuel drill and driver set with free brushed sawzall online. The sawzall (2621 I think) retails for $129 at HD. Would it be worth a try to return the sawzall in for $129 towards a fuel sawzall expecting to pay only the $50 difference?

Or maybe put it towards a fuel circ saw owing a $70 difference.

Definitely consider the 2720-20 instead of the previous gen. The amount which will be refunded should offset the price of the 2720 bare tool by quite a lot. :)

Precisely. Thanks

Although, knowing my hobbies and project list, the circ saw 2731-20 will serve me better both now and later. Not to say I'll never get the 2720-20 fuel sawzall. But a grinder might even make its way into my tool cabinet before I needed a sawzall.

For the sake of the deals thread I was making sure that an exchange of a "free" unopened tool wasn't out of the question to upgrade or get any other fuel tool.?. Guess it wouldn't hurt to try. I've got 3 HDs within 35 miles of my house, might make a day of it. If I get Three strikes I'll be out, with a free Milwaukee sawzall, haha.
