Milwaukee Work light led retrofit

Anyone have any insight on where to get a decent retrofit for the regular older m18 work lights? Milwaukee has a regular led but at around $30 that seems steep for just the bulb. Didn't know if another company made a better kit or not. I have a terraLUX retrofit for my older non led streamlight stinger that is awesome, didn't know if there was something similar.

There are generic versions of the LED conversion bulb available on ebay for about $10. I bought one a couple of years ago for my Ryobi (same bulb as the Milwaukee). They are OK but never work quite as well as a purpose made LED flashlight because the reflector needs to be different for the LED vs. incandescent.

This has been my experience as well. I put the Milwaukee LED bulb in my V28 worklight but it's really more of a spot/pencil beam with a weird halo around it.

Otherwise, OP, no help. Sorry

I have 28v also, tossed the old ones as the bulbs got hard to get and cost money as well as lost dependability. I bought 5 new lights, way better. Havnt had to fix one since.

I've used a couple different ones over the years, and as has been said not as good as a purpose built LED but I like the fact I have not had bulb failure and have a longer burn time per charge.
