30x50 Half concrete and half gravel (which is great otherwise I'd never get my boat in there). Only outside shot I could find.

Storage side of things (Still haven't finished the Bug resto and this pic is a couple years old now)

Old pic (2010). Considering taking the area between the shop and the old garage and adding on to the shop. Currently the shop is north-south. I'd go east-west with the addition. It would be considerably taller. It would also have at least one 14' door (probably a 14' and 10'). The Boy would be happy to have an indoor bball court (almost half court). The wife would not be so happy.

The buggy is extremely well made and well thought out. However, I needed narrower front arms. Instead of building them myself (regrettably), I contacted Big Dave Lawson (owner of DD) to build them. As a result, I now feel Desert Dynamics *****. Super long story short, I feel he ripped me off to the tune of $1500+ and despite promises to cut a check (one of several broken promises), it never happened. Sued (not my style, but wasn't about to lay down), won, and still nothing. Now I get to go through the collection process. In my opinion/experience, he's a con man/deadbeat. No shortage of stories about him in the racing/desert/dune communities. Should have done my homework. Others, however, think he's a saint. Not to get too off-topic, but here's a pic evidencing approx a 1/4" fit up gap at a critical joint. Would have failed in short order with catastrophic affects. Just one example of number of serious problems with the arms (nothing like the orig arms which are flawless). Pics:

Not one of the beads at tight joints were closed. Heck, he didn't even finish the bead on this arm (not to mention that gap):

Wrong bungs and wrong size (bung for 1.5" tubing used in 1.75" tubing):

Didn't even acetone wipe the upper arms before firing up the tig:

Things must be getting tight at DD:

And so on.

I really derailed this. It's a 4 seater, so Big Dave Lawson should have guessed my kids would be passengers. The complete disregard for my family's safeway, beyond the whole ripped-off issue, rather chaps my hide. Probably now more appropriate for a welding thread. Sorry for that.
