Mini Fan Toggle Switch Repair

Any ideas on how to open this up?

I tried twisting but didn't budge; not ready to whale on it before asking around.

Remove the stand completely. Those two threaded studs likely can be twisted out, prior to attempting to seperate the clamshell.

If it doesnt budge after that then i would use a heat gun to heat up any glue holding the two sections together. Get it hot enough to weaken the glue, but not hot enough to melt the plastic. Wear thick gloves so you dont burn your hands and try twisting once its hot.
