mini fridge/cabinet ?

I have basic white garage cabinets top and bottom and a ugly brown mini fringe tied into the bottom is there a way to attach a false door to match my cabinets? I wasn't sure if you can just screw into the door but I doubt it..I also thought about HD construction adhesive..another concern would clearance when opening the door.I'll take a pic if it helps. What says gj?

Don't screw to the door of the fridge. Take the internals off of the inside of the door of the fridge, then drill some holes, and screw through the inside of the fridge door, into the cabinet door without going through the cabinet door.

Why not just paint the fridge to your colour preference?

That's a good idea I was just going to use some sort of "L" shaped brackets for the top and bottom edges but I like your way better.

It was one of those stainless steel fronted mini fridges with the rest of the box black. I buzzed the front with my quarter sheet sander and sprayed it with Rustoleum. The graphics were custom sized to fit the door from some guy on eBay for I think $10 or $12. Matches my Craftsman bottom cabinets now. Super easy.

That looks great but mine has that cheap laminate wrap to make it look like wood I'm not sure how that would take the paint

White contact paper over the fridge door will work as well, as long as it's small enough that you can cover the whole door with one piece so there no seams. You can paint the laminate as well, just clean it to remove any grease or oils, then scuff with fine sandpaper or a scotchbrite to give the paint something to hold on to.

I stayed in a hotel (yes, it <i>was</i> a Holiday Inn) that had a strap arrangement to tie the fridge door to the cabinet door. Opening the cabinet pulled the strap and opened the fridge inside. Close the cabinet door and a rub strip on the inside pushed the fridge door closed. Don't forget to vent the cabinet...
