Mini galvanized tin walls

Has anyone done the mini galvanized for their walls a full 8ft?
I have 24" OC studs and each panel will just fit vertically. Planning this for a couple of reasons.
1) so I don't have to mud/sand/paint drywall
2) fire resistance
3) a little color as I have white steel ceiling and white slat wall
4) flatter than standard steel panels so I can hang shelf brackets. Don't want to do standard steel horizontal to keep the dirt off the walls.

Other than echo, downsides I'm not thinking of?

I didn’t go full height as my used panels were more like 40” and thrashed on the ends.
I worried about glowing embers getting behind the steel, so I definitely made sure to use Z strips above the corrugations.

Full height panels will seriously encumber ember-safe receptacle cut ins.
If I did corrugated again, I would absolutely add horizontal girts every two feet to fasten the steel evenly; I didn’t and had to overly rely on the Z strip to keep the steel flat.

The walls I plan to do will pretty much be covered by workbenches and tool boxes. No issues with embers. Might I get away with 1 horizontal plus top/bottom? Yes, I planned to do top and bottom with the j channel.

Too bad you’re not closer. I have pallets of old stuff like that I took off buildings that my wife has made me keep for “projects” lol

I've never seen mini galvanized before- seems to be a Menard's thing? I did a 4' wainscoting of 5V, which has extended flat areas for mounting stuff, and installing outlets. I secured it with J channel, which is barely adequate, and accumulates stuff on the bottom channel.

HD has it as well. Looks like z channel on the bottom. Once the tool chests and benches go back it won't be cleaned for some time!

I don’t know the size of the “mini” corrugations, but you might be safe with a single horizontal girt at the workbench height, assuming you add blocking where you plan to hang shelf brackets.
What about receptacles and switches? Cut in or surface mounted conduit?

Receptacles have been there for years about 4 ft high roughly every 6 ft and already GFI so I will be cutting them in. Need to frame out the windows. The outlets are all at the studs so should be able to put them in fairly accurately because the studs are 24" OC and so are the panels. Just purchased new tools to do the other steel panels so should not need additional tools. Just need new brain cells to cut them properly!
Didn't measure the corrugations yet but they're roughly 1- 1 1/4". The unfinished walls are the 2nd project after I do some more slat wall at the entry door. Luckily I have some panels left over from the north wall and it's enough to do 1 section to hang all the garden tools. The stuff has doubled in price since I bought it 10 yrs ago....
