Snap On truck had one of these a month ago for a demo, right about the time I seen a thread on here about these mini jump starters. I tried to find that thread with no success. He was taking orders so I ordered on and it came yesterday. Mostly I was interested in something to recharge electronics while in the bush, I didn't have much faith in the jump starter side of it. First thing I did with it was go out to a POS Plymouth Breeze I have that has been sitting for 6 months with a dead battery. Hook it up and it spun it over like a fully charged battery, even took a couple 15 second cranks to fire up. I am impressed with this thing. ***** it is made in China though.

The Indy tool guy that comes here, has been selling them for awhile, he sold one to a diesel tech and he has used it on a Powerstroke with dead batteries along with a regular jump box and cranked like it had new batteries in it, on my list to get but still paying for a large tool purchase so it will have to wait.

We sell the zeta by Jackco and the Allstart under Calvan. I swear these are the hottest things we have ever sold. Crazy #'s. A Snappy heard I had these yesterday and cleaned out my last 30. "Send 'em to me." 'How many sir?' " All of 'em!" Jackco is a ZT50400 or the bigger kit zt50420. Calvan is a 540 or the bigger kit is a 550.

It's a neat tool, but be careful of leaving it in the trunk on a hot day. Lithium batteries (or any battery) aren't fond of heat.
