Just thought I would show you tool nuts in case you need another tool to buy. I have used one of these for years I lost my last one traveling (I train techs around the country) they are great for connector locks and a lot of other stuff just as useful as a pocket screwdriver and not as easy to bend. MAC tools PN2C

I’ve been on the fence about getting one for a while now. Are they durable and strong? Are they that much better than a pocket screwdriver? They make a straight blade one too, have you tried that one? I can’t believe no one else offers one of these!

It's ok, but the snap on pocket screwdriver is still my favorite. The shank on the mac moves in the handle when you tap on it with a hammer. The snap on doesn't move.

It works great it bends less then a pocket screwdriver. I dont think they make a straight one. I still use a a pocket screwdriver in fact 2 I have a regular tip an a small tip one that can be used to remove terminals from connectors.

I don't hammer on my pocket screwdriver or the pocket prybar. I still use pocket screwdriver.

My pocket screwdriver is basically an 11th finger for me. Screwing, prying, scraping, hell I'd brush my teeth with it if I could. I can't say I make a point of using it as a punch, but I have seen me do it.

Mini pry bar . Isn’t that what HF screwdrivers are for[emoji51]. You can put that custom bend in em pretty easy[emoji1782]. They do make splendid punches though 2 minutes on a grinder ..........[emoji847]

The snap on [shank] doesn't move.

Yes it does. I've had to pull it back out a few times. I wish someone made something as small with a through shank and striking cap but it doesn't seem to exist.

It might once, but it bottoms out pretty quick. At that point it ain't going any father.

Almost bought one of these today for a mini pry bar. The swivel cap was the deal breaker though. If only there were a solid one

Thanks OP for turning me on to these. Set just showed up today, and they'll be a big help for electrical connectors.

For anyone interested, they're both pry bars (straight and curved) even though the packaging says screwdrivers. My guess would be this can get them around an "abuse" warranty if they choose so.

Not sure how much use a "Pocket Screwdriver with Curved Blade" would be.:lol_hitti
