Mini split head issue.

Our Mitsubishi hyper heat is 3 years old and the inside unit is really bugging me. So when we turn it on and it opens the covers it sounds like they are stuck and have to break free. There is nothing sticky but when i manually move the covers you can feel them binding at spots in their travel, so is there a lubricant you can spray on the joints?

Well we use this https://amzn.to/335hyCo it works for those sticky louvers. Only takes a little. On other parts we use a grease version.

Thank you, so do you spray it on the linkage and work it in or take stuff apart and apply?

Both as needed, but don't over spray so it runs out and down the wall. Try multiple smaller applications rather than all at once approach.
