I drilled the 3.5" hole in the wall and installed the plastic sleeve. Now that the lines are run I still have a lot of space around the lines. What have you used to fill the area around the lines to seal it?

If you've got the MrCool, it'll have that putty material to stuff in around it. If not grab yourself some expanding spray foam.

I used insulation scraps. The insulation I used is mold and moisture resistant, left over from my walls. Then added the clay putty that was included.

I've used spray foam. Be aware the cleanup from Great Stuff and expanding urethane foams is difficult to downright awful. Latex foams (such as Dap) have water cleanup. They expand from the can like shaving cream, and stay that way, and stop drafts (though not so much pests).

The duct seal putty makes a good exterior covering. Or use a good elastomeric caulk.

I had wrapped the lineset in the hole area with plastic wrap, then used expanding foam. If it ever has to come apart should not be huge mess.

I just stuffed fiberglass insulation in all my holes. I thought about Spray foam but was worried about replacing a head and if i would be fighting with the spray foam.
