Mini split in conex

Can I mount a mini split on a conex exterior wall and run the lines down the wall, up through the floor, and up to a ceiling mounted cassette? That is, forming a “U”?

In this scenario, the condensate line could just spill on the ground.

I vaguely recall that might cause issues.

Or do I need to mount the compressor on the ground and have only ascending lines to the indoor unit?

I can not think of any issue. Some might comment on oil return, but most condensers can be mounted above the indoor unit.

Why a ceiling mounted cassette instead of the standard wall mount head unit? Most systems energy efficiency seer ratings suffers when you use the cassettes. Air distribution is typically not as good either.
