Don’t have Facebook but does it come with idu and odu?

You’ll need a line set, electrical, and drain line but that’s a great deal for both.

I don't know, do those usually all come in the one box? That's probably the scam, buy the one box for $500 and find out there are three more you need.

It’s likely not a scam. Here’s the probable deal.

These things come over in shipping crates feom China. Say the shipping crate these were in falls over, gets dropped, retains water damage from poor door seals etc.

What is the manufacturer do? Rather than sell these potentially damaged units to its Dealers and retailers, it files a claim with its insurance company and the adjusters write off the whole container. As a manufacturer, would you risk warrantying defective products or the reputation of your product? What costs less, an insurance claim, or hundreds or thousands of warranty claims.

Many times the goods are sold at auction to the highest bidder in which port they were damaged in or arrived at after being damaged in shipment. The products are sold without warranty AS IS.

THIS is why you see the seller claiming these are selling at ‘ a walmart parking lot ‘.
An exact comparison to these units are a Pioneer 12k 110v unit now being sold at highseer for $688.

I’d pay the little bit extra and know what you are getting. Just me.

The indoor unit will be in a separate box than the outdoor unit. Looks to be two different sized boxes in the photo you posted.

I have purchased 4 of these conforta units. 18k units for $650 each with shipping. Install very easy and work great for cooling but heating under 40degrees goes to almost 0. A nice but unique piece is the power is on the inside with the indoor unit so no outdoor power is necessary. The remote works well but 3 of my 4 units are only Celsius the 4th is Fahrenheit. I've also used $19 outdoor wall condenser mounts and they work fine. Last caution Shipping was terrible. All 4 units had minor/ major metal damage and 1 had to be factory replaced due to cooper lines beside the condenser being crushed. Company quickly replaced without complaint. If you have any questions ask

From reading a big difference between cheap and expensive units is the thickness of the copper. Thick lasts longer, thin in cheap units fails quicker.

Here is a video by a self proclaimed pro. Note the coiled lineset near the outdoor unit. I am a unqualified amateur hack and I would not coil the lines.
