I forgot to switch the drain tube from one side to the Other so it would be on the same side as my copper lines. So be sure to not screw up like me and read all the instructions closely.

On mine as they come out of the box the tube set and drain are on the right side. I move the drain line to the left side drain connection. The drain is then more direct and it is easier to close the unit down onto the mounting bracket without having to compress everything in a very tight space.

What am I missing? Just swap the drain line before you install the unit, or pull it off the wall and swap before you connect the refrigerant lines and electrical.

Is this mounted on an exterior wall? Just run the drain through its own hole.

I took it back off and fixed it but if you bendthe copper lines twice it risks crimping the lines when you bend them twice.
