Well after all the advice I gathered from here, I finally got my new Daikin Mini Split installed. It was a little different installing on a red iron building, but it all worked out good.

Good job ... did you purchase online ?

It's a huge company .. they have limited dealer network in the non-commercial areas around me.

I installed a Daikin LV series 9000 BTU, it is lazy to get to where I set it
I finally found the engineering manual which explain what I was seeing.. it tries to run as long as possible if it is under 73 degrees. At the expense of taking very long if want it to go to anywhere under 73 degrees. I don't really like such binary behavior. Best to just leave it on at all times.

Also don't really like how they continue mention a limit of 114.8F, manaul says a safety device may shut it off.. if you look at the chart outdoor 104+ , indoor 82+ is not really so unusual, but it is off the operational limit.

Some other nice features drawn me to it, though.

Hope this helps if you are also seeing something like that with your unit.

Thanks. I bought it from Ingrams. They were very pleasant to deal with.
PoorOwner, thanks, I will have to keep an eye on that. Here in Oklahoma it can get pretty hot at times.
