I am pretty sure I have a leak at one of the high side service ports where the line is sweated into the back of the valve. I pulled a cover off and I see some oil at one of the fittings.
Is there any hope of fixing the valve?
Does the unit need to be evacuated or are the two larger valves at the top able to be used to isolate?
Do these valves disassemble to be sweated?
Does the factory use dye in the charge? I have a UV light but I have to dig to find it.
It is a 48000 btu Media.
I should caveat this with I am pretty confident with a torch and have a Turbo Torch I use with acetylene.
