Mini Split Not Cooling...Thoughts?

Installed this Pioneer unit a few years back. Three nights ago, it was throwing the breaker. Went outside to see if something was loose, and everything seemed to be fine...Except the copper lines were missing some of the insulation, and it looked like the cover to the a/c line hookup was messed with. Was thinking someone was trying to either steal my copper or freon? Maybe a line leak? It's getting cool here this week, so it's not on the top of my list.
Would not having insulation on the copper lines cause it to not blow cool?
Thanks in advance, John

Missing a few inches of insulation is not really gonna change anything.

Something is wrong with your system. Could be out of refrigerant, running into a vacuum and thr compressor is not having it.. or could be something else.

Time for a service call.

I agree with the above....a friend of mine had a theif come by while she was at work and evacuated her system.
If you can get to the circuit board look for obvious burns, also I've never tinkered with a mini split, but if you can get to the compressor, check you wires to see if they're shorted to ground
