I know I've seen it here somewhere, but I can't find it to save my life!
I've been doing research on mini splits and a few threads mentioned putting a power filter on the AC line. Can anyone offer a model number or link for these filters? I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a 220v model and would like to get one on order.

Power filter = spd?
?

I wish Google would stop shorting a link to "Google search" when sharing.. I had no idea what the OP was looking for but my brain wasn't firing and I had to search it myself

Power filter didn't give me many results...

I was confused as he asked for a power filter and you gave a link for a spd.

In the only town in Pennsylvania, Bloomsburg.
A power line filter ( power conditioner) may suppress surge/sags/spikes/EMF and other power anomalies depending on the quality of the device. Believe the OP just wants a lightning surge suppressor, power conditioners are generally large and expensive and vary in size and cost.

Previous threads on surge/lightning protection......

Surge protection? Make them in breaker also whole house protection where twin breaker is needed. Even from electric companies that fit between the meter and base.

PCcustoms posted what I needed, thanks much. It should be here today according to tracking.

Next question, Does anyone have issues with the condensate line freezing(if run by itself) or does that not come into play when the temp gets that low? After thinking about it for a while, I'd assume the humidity is gone by those temps, just wanted to be sure.

When heating (with a heat pump) the condensation is outside instead of in, and the unit will auto defrost

You won't be cooling/dehumidifying when the temps are freezing outdoors
