Mini Split question for a 3 car random garage.

I’m Planning on installing a 24k Mr. Cool DIY in my 3 car Tandom garage. But due to the shape of the garage not sure if 1 indoor unit will be enough. Planning on placing the unit on the right side of the garage near the side service door. But will it effectively cool the back of the garage and also make it to the the left side of the garage ?

Here’s some pictures of how my set up currently is. I spend most of my time in either near my tool box/ work bench or under the hood of a car in the garage.


(Wife’s car is parked backwards in the garage, usually work on cars nose in)

This is my garage size but flipped. Long side on the right and short side on the left.

I would like to place the mini outdoor unit on the right side of the long wall so it will be an easy run for power to my main panel.

I think you’ll be fine. I have an 18k unit for a 20 x 30 garage with ~12 ft ceiling. I’d line up the center of the unit with your entry wall to split the flow to both sections of the garage.

I have 2 x 24K units in a 2400 sqft shop in Texas. 16 eves. You'll have a lot of cooling capacity. Units do tend to focus cooling, so either be prepared to move the air around or make sure that the unit is pointed toward where you want it....
