My garage measures 23.2 x 23.2. It is a recently renovated one-story detached garage and has spray foam insulation. There are 4 single pane windows (which in hindsight was a mistake as I should have done double pane). The home is located in NC Mountains and my focal point is not for the AC component. Rather, I am looking to reduce the condensation/moisture as well as provide a little bit of heat for those occasional projects. We are seasonal residents so don't need it for the vast majority of the winter months but will occasionally visit.
I am assuming that I should get a 500 SF Unit. Electrician mentioned Mr. Cool (I found this unit on amazon but am flexible and open to your input on size/brand.
