Not for my garage but the "frog" (finished room over garage) above it. If I put a mini split in that room will it pressurize the room when the door is closed? The door to the house is a steel exterior door used as a fire door. Would I need to add a pass through vent of some sort so the mini split could flow air?

The split would work, but I don't think it will pressurize a space, it is only treating existing air, not adding air.

If it does you can start charging celebrities admission.......:)

I have an 18K mini-split in my bonus room and it works great

They do make some higher end models that will pull in some outside air, but I really don't think I'd worry about going that far unless you had a very good reason to do that.

I've installed a lot of these systems, they actually work really good, they are easy to install and are relatively inexpensive too.
