Hello, I stumbled across this forum while doing some googling, lots of great information.
I am looking to put a mini split ductless system in my shop.
I live in northern california, 110 in the summer, and lucky to get 10 days freezing in the winter. The more important factor for my location is cooling.
The shop is 25x40 (1,000 sqft) with a bathroom/shower. It is 10' celings with 2x6 construction with r-30 insulation in walls. Slab foundation with some attic storage, finished drywall. 9' 2 car garage door.
We are all electric here, tied to PGE but 100% covering bill with solar, 220v already in shop.
Also, what is the instillation like for these systems? From what ive read it doesnt look too difficult, but would appreciate some first hand feedback.
We just built shop/house june of 2016 so now I have time to start organizing and working on setting up the shop and would like to get something in before summer.
