Mini Split Warranty?

Anyone buy a Mini off of Amazon and add the product protection plan?
Seems like it covers everything and there's no money out of pocket. I'm sure one service call would more than pay for itself with the price of the protection plan. I was looking at Daikin warranty, and if I read their warranty right, they basically will not warrantee their product unless it is installed and an owner occupied house. It appears that any outbuildings void the warranty.

• Units that are installed in buildings other than mul-fam- ily residences not occupied by the owner, such as non-residenal buildings or owner-occupied residences.

Sounds way too good to be true for $185.....

"This Plan is inclusive of the Manufacturer’s Warranty; it does not replace the Manufacturer’s Warranty. After the Manufacturer’s Warranty expires, the

• We will refer You back to the manufacturer or Retailer if We determine a Breakdown is covered by the Manufacturer’s Warranty."

Does this mean if it breaks down in the manufacture's warranty period, your stuck with the diagnostic requirement ( your cost), the labor cost and many manufacturers take forever to get the replacement parts shipped out. Sounds like you best pray that nothing happens during the manufacturers warranty period.

"Inherent defects that are the responsibility of the manufacturer" are not covered
questionable stipulation

lastly you agree to arbitration when you buy this warranty.

You'd be better off saving the $185 for future parts
