mini-split wiring and disconnects

I just finished installation of Ramsond mini-split and now I'm worried about inspection..

I have fused disconnect on outside next to the condensor. But inside unit powered by wire coming from condensor. Should I have internal switch next to the unit?

I didn't even think about it because all mini-splits I've seen didn't have any switches inside. And frankly they are not even in a manual..

If I knew there should be switch I would wire main power appropriately, but now it's too late. Without much damage to the walls I can install switch and control power wire coming from condensor.

Does anybody have any input on this situation?

County codes will vary, but I passed inspection with just an un-fused disconnect at the outdoor unit.

Since the indoor unit is wired directly from the outdoor and does not have it's own power feed from the panel they said it was not required.

I assume it is like the Ramsond units I have. The inside units are powered off the outside unit. My wiring goes from circuit breaker to outside disconnect. From outside disconnect to the outside unit. Then from outside unit up to inside unit. There is no seperate switch to shut off the inside unit.

Yep. Mine is just like that. Will see if it passes..

I have the same thing but different supplier and you should be ok.
