Mini-Split with a room inside of garage, does it work?

So this isn't for a garage exactly, but essentially the same. I'm thinking about going with the DIY Mr.Cool system, but my only concern is for the extra rooms inside of my main room. Basically it's a big open space 28x25 with a bathroom 17x9 and closet 11x9 inside that large room. I will be mounting the unit in the larger space and "Hoping" the cool air will find it's way into that bathroom and closet space and still keep it cool. The door for the bathroom will be pretty much right across the room from the unit and I plan on having 2 ceiling fans in the middle of the big room to keep air moving. Plus, the doors for the bathroom and closet will be open 95% of the time.

So does anyone have a mini-spit in their garage and also an office/storage space? If so, is there much temp difference?

Thanks

pretty good idea, but the reviews dont seem to great. I guess I could put a large finned return style grate in the wall on both sides to help air pass through, but I can't image it would do a lot more than the door being open.

I have a 12000 BTU mini split in our master bedroom, it has a walk in closet and an attached bathroom. The closet has a louvered door and the bathroom door is left open, I can't feel any temperature difference between the main room and the others. I do have a small electric toe kick heater in the bathroom.

IMO if you leave the doors open you’ll be fine.
