Your mini anvil looks like a piece of railroad track. Ive got a similar size piece of track in the garage right now

that is a larin vise. not expensive or exotic but it works well.
and yes, that is a piece of rail. small but useful. i don't know who made it or even remember where i got it.

its very similar.
i see the reviews are bad but i have beaten the piss out of this one and it has never failed me. i have had it 16 years or so.
