Hi interested in purchasing a mini torch for delicate silver soldering. I see them from $20.00 up to about $300.00 dollars. My question is about the connections to the regulators and bottles. I see some show 14 mm connections which are not standard to common regulators. So do I purchase adapters or how do I accomplish this. What regulators do I purchase for appropriate gasses. Thanks.

I was looking at a set a few years ago. it didn't come with regulators, I assume you used regular OxyAcetylene regulators . the connections appeared to be standard, but if they were some odd ball, I think they would have easily been replaced

I have some adapters to standard CGA regulators that I got from Victor? Long ago, there are several versions, mine are imperial for Smith and Purox torches.

Get one of these, refillable butane torch. I use mine for repairing glasses and jewellery, etc. (silver soldering)
