We have a 2 car attached garage that I am going to finally try to organise.
It will be used for building and refurbishing vintage minibikes and whatever I can hit with a hammer. It is a shambles at the moment. I have everything that I need I think, now to sift through other garages before attacking it. Here is a rough plan of what I am aiming for. pic 1.

I also have a small shed that needs organising properly. This will be for parts and greasy items. Also lawn mower etc. I may also put my chemicals in here also. I plan on having a small workbench in here to.
For the garage I have bamboo flooring to be laid. I have a 15mm thick rubber mat (old conveyor belt from a coal mine) that is about 1.5mtr square that I will use to cover the bamboo floor in front of the welding bench to protect it.
For the shed I will transfer the flooring you can see in garage but will need to raise it as it sits directly on the concrete and the water runs through it. I will use treated pine battens for this I think.
