Well, a car club friend mentioned that he and his family has used "Miracle" garage door openers for years and that they were easy to install and worked great.

So, I did some web lookin'....and....http://www.miracleinstrument.com/garage.html

Now...does anyone here have an input on this? I have three bays that I'd like to put openers in...on with a track that follows the cathedral ceiling. I was thinking of the jackshaft 3800 to.

Of course, these days...one has to watch his sheckles...so maybe I should just be looking at the old standby openers. Or, saving for something else later and opening the doors...(oh the humanity) manually.

Interesting. So with the motor attached to the track, does that mean you have a power cord hanging from the motor to the control box?

I can see this for an 8 or 9ft door, but I'd have series reservations about trying it on a 16 or 18ft door. I've had wide doors that had to be pulled up absolutely straight or they they would get twisted in the tracks.

Wow, I have never seen one of those before.

Looks like it was designed by Uncle Fester (Light bulb sticking out of the top)
