sounds a little on the high side to me...for a wood building...you can do a steel for about the same cost..maybe a little cheaper...my 30 x 60 x 13 shop was 16,000

That price doesn't include the wood, you're looking at another $2,000-$4,000 for the lumber. More money than a regular all steel building, but worth it.

You get a helluva strong building. I tell my wife and kids that if there's an earthquake, get out of the house and into the shop!!!

The other benefit is finishing the interior walls and insulating uses regular materials.

Factory support is superb (from Pat), material quality is #1. I'd buy another if I had to do it again.

If you look at my build, it's ending up more like a house than a tin hot-box.

I love mine.

PS: If you ever want to finish the walls with drywall or paneling, make sure you get the "flat" truss supports instead of the round ones. You'll have to notch some wood, but you'll have clean / smooth walls.

Miracle Truss is a very nice building. I thought, right up until the time I called them, that that was the building I was going to get. But, after getting the quote from them, looking at what you get for that much coin, looking at everything that doesn't come with it (wood, doors, windows) and adding up the numbers, I found I could have a premium flush frame pole type building (allows for standard batts and interior wall finishing) built, including labor for 25% less cost than a materials only Miracle Truss building. There was no decision to make. I could spend 8k less and not lift a finger, or spend $8k more, try to beg, borrow, and steal some help, and spend months and months of my time putting one up.

MT does have a nice product though, and while it doesn't fits everyones' needs or budget, it is one to look at. Be sure to look at Adams Truss buildings as well. Similar building, costs a lot less.

It seems too high to me also I just priced a 30X48 building from the place I got mine. It is $8700 Delivered to my site, setup with the options like your quote was. Probably thicker panels too....

No way would I want a hybred building (wood purlans and girts over a metal truss) for 2x the cost of a red iron framed building....

I got it from www.steelbuilding.com you can get an instant quote from that site for the building of all most any size and spec's. They do ask for you to sign up for the site but they have never sent any spam to the e-mail address I used with them.
