Koy E: can you post a zip code where you found this stuff?
I need an angle vise like that, & i'd probably take the quick release for that price, but they are close to full list price here.

I could use a Craftsman angle vise as well, I have both the standard and quick release that I picked up on clearance last year but the angle was still full price then, I'll check local tomorrow.

Check around with competitors. EXAMPLE: That 3" general purpose vise is the same price on sale as Grizzly's drill press vise, same thing. I ordered one a couple years ago to fit the same style as my Grizzly DP and full price was about $20.

You got me all excited about the Nupla hammers....I'll go to my Sears tomorrow and see lawn trimmer spools from the 70s in the clearance like I always do. Never anything worthwhile.

IGNORE the shelf prices, I just picked up the angle vise for $14.97 on clearance and the shelf was normal price on all the vices. I didn't check the price on the others but I'm sure they are clearance as well. Thank you for posting, I would have never known of the sale!!!!

As of today, my Sears still has a whole pile of the metric T-handle nutdriver sets @ $9.97, just FYI.

My sears, didn't have the vise :( but while wondering I did find a few made in the USA swivel head ratcheting stubby wrenches full polish by craftsman sae and metric, the head swivels and there is a lock, 4.97 each, down from 22.99. almost a full set, missing 3 or 4 which were still the normal price for some reason.

I frequent three different Sears looking for the clearance stuff. One had the metric for 9.97 and the SAE for 39.99. Got the mm, went to the next store two days later and the deal was reversed. So I got each set for 9.97. Pays to look and check back. Got the Torx set T handles several weeks ago 11.99.

BTW, my local Outlet in Greensboro still has RP sets, metric and SAE for 11.99 and USA full polish mm and SAE 7 pc sets, 6 and 12 points marked down to 14 and change. Boxes of them available.
I walk by salivating but my boxes are filled with the CM Industrial from last year. Go get 'em guys.

I have yet to find a good deal in store at my Sears. Everything on the shelves is always full price or on Sale for about $2 less than the normal price. The clearance section is usually full of bits and pieces that look like they fell of the truck and you get a whopping 5-10% off... Yet I still always check whenever I go to pick up an online order.

Just a bunch of junk in the Charlotte outlet. I've got a box full of Industrial and professionals from last year as well though.

Clearance section at my local Sears is awful. Usually loose power tools and socket sets missing pieces. Only about 10-20% off too

Picked up the quick release for $14.97. Couldn't find it in the store. Not even a hole where it belonged. But the computer showed 3 on hand and a guy found them in the back room.

Sometimes you just have to grab something and take it to the price checker or have an employee check the price. Store I got the Nupla dead blow from only had it marked down $5 on the shelf, yet it rang up another $15 less. T handle nut drivers were still on the shelf full price, but as others have reported, rang up at $9.97.

So if you see a clearance item on here you're interested in, it pays to check the price if isn't marked on the shelf. Some stores just don't do a good job of putting the tags on stuff.
