Don't even want to tell you all the BAD ADVICE I followed when switching to Drop Box...

Then read a convo between two people here... 0 to 1 ... done ... I even commented that it should be made a sticky... you know ... directions on using Drop Box...

FWIW... I only upload pictures to drop box that have been resized to 18 percent... that works for my camera... your mileage may differ.

I do both... I prefer having them organized in drop box simply because I have too many freaking devices... and I like having my photos available easily outside GJ

I do keep a network drive with 2TB on it... (it's duplicated three times - grandfather, father, son)... that is my storage of originals and important documents. All my devices can NOT access my network drive... FWIW

Yeah I do the same but with OneDrive. I just always upload from OD to GJ before posting on here.

Then it's on Ryan's dime. Enough people start hosting all their pics and this site is going to be more expensive to run.

I generally do, but every now and then I post the same picture on a couple of forums. Last time I tried I got all muddled up.
