Its for 3/8" studs, just slip it on the stud and it sort of grabs it, you can turn it both ways.

Yes, it fits 3/8" diameter studs only. It will NOT fit 10mm studs - they are just a bit too large. Stahlwille makes a very good stud remover. I bought a set from Assenmacher Specialty Tools many years ago, before he introduced his own line of stud removers. I would buy this for myself if i didn't already have a set.
