Bought an old Kennedy machinist tool box for $15 with some tools inside (not shown). It is in fair condition. The handle worn out quite a bit. Cover has some paint coming off with some rust. Also bought a brand new Garrett turbocharger for $35. I will use it as a learning aid for me. Also bought an 8 pieces Metric Snap-On wrenches (mixture of flank drive and flank drive plus) for $40. They are in good condition. Don't know why I buy so many wrenches.

I'll buy every $15 Kennedy I find. They are great for the smaller stuff. I've five of them and they're all full.

What does the turbo fit?

thnx, jack vines

He also has another Kennedy box in excellent condition. He wanted $50 for it so I decided to take the $15 one instead. Should I go back and get the $50 one too?

$40.00 is a damn good price on the wrenches!!

Some seller ask rediculous price for them. This guy has a similar set and he wanted $150. I didn't even bother to bargain. Walk away and found this set. The guy want $50 and I offer $40 and walk home with them. He also has a 1/2 dr SO flex ratchet similar to the one below but the handle is a little shorter. It is in excellent condition. He wanted $80, but I probably can bargain it down to $70. But I think $70 is still too much.

Deals like this is what makes me hate California. Seems like everyone here knows their value and are looking to get rich of the tools. I saw the same set at the swapmeet yesterday, the guy that didn't speak English would not go any lower than $125. I hate Mexi-fornia.

Jeez, what a steal on everything there; YOU ****, MAJORLY.

You have been acquiring quite a lot of used tools for as long as I can recall seeing you here. How about a new thread with some photos of the entire collection? :D
