My quest (some might say "fool's errand" but that would be a vicious slander) to get at least one example of every brand the Thorsen V-groove pattern wrenches were made in has chalked up yet another near-miss. I haven't been able to get a Westcraft example, but I've now seen pictures of four. One sold on ePay January 3, and somehow I missed it. I've been trying to take a look every day, but obviously this one got by me.
EvilBay severly restricts communication between members, so I'm not sure what the seller could to to put me in touch with the buyer... though I did send him a message trying to accomplish that.
With the vast reach of Garage Journal, maybe someone knows who the seller, thisandthatdave, is. Maybe he's even a member and could PM me!
OTOH, a GJ member, RossF, has two of them (or at least he used to) and I haven't been able to reach him by PM.
