Missing Snap On date codes..

I have been looking over some Snap On tools that I have inherited, and I have noticed that some of them do not have date codes stamped into them. Well, at least not that I can see. Is this normal, or am I missing something?

Many of the older ones do not have date codes. No date codes before 1927. Post a pic and maybe we can id.

Pretty Normal, I have many Snap on Tools that are missing Date codes. Id be willing to bet someone will chime in with some Info on what years/tools are missing the date stamp.

It's normal for some Snap-on tools to not have date codes. What's weird is when you find other brand tools with SO date codes.
