I am new to the forum and hopefully someone can help. I have a decent amount of craftsmen sockets but have noticed i am missing some. I have tried to get them from sears but my local store seems to say they can't get them and can't find them online. I am not against other brands i just like craftsmen for the price and warranty as I don't use them everyday. Any good brands that sell single sockets cheap or a place besides sears to find single sockets?

Sears is disappearing fast. Craftsman is moving to Lowe's. People also seem to like the Napa Carlyle lineup.

Make a wanted ad in the classifieds here on the forum with a list of what you are looking for and what era craftsman you are looking for (ie =V=, G, etcetara)

Many of us on the forum have many many extras, and we also go to many yard/estate sales, etc., so we can keep an eye out

Home Depot has singles in their husky brand...though depending on how many are missing it might be a wash vs buying a new set.

Craftsman is in an odd place right now. two totally different companies selling stuff under the same name. Probably best to hunt the used market if they really gotta be Cman.

You said you are not against other brands and liked Craftsman when they delivered quality at a decent price. Sears is circiling the drain and you can get the OTHER Craftsman at Lowes or Ace hardware but a really good choice would be Tekton. Their whole focus is to supply good value to the home mechanic. You can order direct from them or mail order from Amazon, Tractor Supply or Home Depot. If you don't meet the HD $45 min. for free shipping they will send it to your local store for free. Some other stores have stock. Menards maybe? but nothing in my area. Tekton customer service is THE BEST. Any problem and they will make it right, just like the old Sears warranty. Many on this forum speak well of them and like most of their products. The sockets are fine. I have a couple and am very happy with them. The fit and finish is better than anything out of Sears for quite some time and the price is very reasonable.

EBay. Toolman sells craftsman sockets individually.

I bought most of my craftsman sockets in the 90s when I got started and they have served me well. Just did a full inventory and clean up and
Identified a few that I lost over the years. You can buy singles at Lowe’s to fill in the gaps, but they aren’t the same other than the craftsman name.

I’ve decided to replace/upgrade with SK over time. It’s either put the effort into finding used replacements or picking a new brand and roll with it.

Rather than running around with your hair on fire chasing specific individual sockets, I've had good luck buying mixed-lot sets at estate/garage/thrift sales. High-grade what you want to keep, give the rest away or sell at your own garage sale. They're out there, sometimes it's easier to find the herd than an individual.

You could easily fill in missing sockets with USA Craftsman bought on eBay.

Also try stopping by some larger pawn shops that sell tools. Every one I've been in has bins of sockets you can dig through.

Another idea is to check Ace Hardware if you have those near you. There are two in my town and both sell individual Craftsman sockets. Sometimes you can even find some nos USA sockets often pushed to the back with newer China versions at the front.

I found singles that I was missing on ebay...... Not a lot of money.

There are tons of affordable Craftsman sockets on eBay all the time. I very recently completed a couple older Craftsman socket sets just looking on eBay. I didn’t have to look too hard to find what I wanted.

Any automotive swap meet (Carlisle, Hershey, Charlotte, Pomona, Long Beach, Pate, Iola, Canfield, etc, etc) has dozens of vendors selling Craftsman sockets for $1 -$2 apiece, depending on size.
