Miter Saw Dust Extraction

I'm looking to buy a Ridgid miter saw. I know there are better ones out there but the reason I'm interested in the Ridgid is that it has a 2 inch dust exhaust port which will match my Ridgid 2 inch shop vac. I'm an occasional user.
I realize that dust extraction will never get 100% of the dust.
What I'm wondering is, considering dust extraction only, how any of the other saws (Dewalt, etc) with a smaller port and using an upsizing adapter to a 2 inch shop vac would perform.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Sincere thanks

I don't have the Rigid saw but my Bosch's duct collection improved quite a bit with the ShopNation adapter... Here is the Rigid version...

This ^^^

Adding hoods is about the only way to improve miter saw dust collection
(ps double check your footprint, that saws front to back action is like +40"!)

Dust port diameter doesn't have much effect on collection

Seems like a great recommendation. I've watched many of this guy's YouTube videos and he's convinced me that he's the real deal.
