Miter Saw with Internal Slide?

A few days ago I watched a video online about a sliding miter saw that had an internal slide rail so you didn't waste space with it sticking out of the back. However, I forgot to save the link and can't remember what brand of saw had this feature.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about or have a link to it?

Hitachi has one like what youre describing I think

Sounds like the Hitachi C12RSH. If not, that one lets the rails stay in front OF slide out back, your preference. The Bosch GCM12SD has a folding arm affair.

That, and festool kapex works on the same principal. I have the bosch gcm12sd which you can put right against a wall as well.

The one I saw had the rails in the normal spot, but they extended toward the user. I wanted to check it out more because it looked like the slide depth wouldn't be as great as regular sliders.

The fine adjustment knobs and internal rail really impressed me.

However, the $1400 price is something I just can't afford. Looks like Bosch's axial glide may be a better option.

I'm getting a new garage with limited space and just trying to optimize. I was hoping to avoid shelving the saw and my drill press every time I'm not using them, but that may not be an option. Maybe I just need to **** it up and get a nice quality saw with an external rail?
