Need to do a power steering flush and brake fluid flushes on two of my vehicles. Is the mityvac 6835 worth the cost vs using turkey basters and bottle with a tube in it?

To me it was worth it and I'm just taking care of our household's cars. I find that if I work with good tools I really enjoy working on the cars. If I try to do things the cheap ways it can make it harder and take some of the fun out of it. That is just me.

I did have a bad gasket on mine but there was no problem getting if fixed.

While I've seen a slight dip in quality in Lincoln/Mityvac products over the years, it's still worth it if you're taking care of your or your family's vehicles.

before you buy, check out the v12 diy from brakebleeder.com i have had 2 mityvacs and never liked the way they operated. used the v12 once, and it took half the time to do brakes, and made it much easier in the long run. feels like it works much better too.
