I use an MV7300, and a home-made derivative for all sorts of things. Brakes, oil changes, vacuum testing EGR valves, vacuum testing engines, all kinds of stuff. It is a multi-purpose tool that I have used the fire out of! Probably the most used tool in the shop. Reminds me, I need to go empty mine.
The home-made derivative is basically a Mityvac venturi and hoses attached to a 7 gal air tank mounted on wheels. It is used for all kinds of stuff mostly oil changes particularly this time of year (lawn and garden industry, pre-season PM aka service). Usually fill it about once a day. The venturi will pull 24"/hg at 90 psi. Have used it at home where my regulator is on the brink and will feed the lines 140 psi, and it still makes 24"/hg.
