I'm not fully set on doing the whole garag in free flow but being as I have drains on both side of the garage and my garage is slopped towards the drains I was thinking of do 4-5ft strips of free flow in the middle to give the slop a place to run without doing the entire stall areas in freeflow......thoughts?

I have a mix of FreeFlow and solid tiles and there is no issue. I put solid in areas where I am doing things that drop metal filings, sawdust, or even tiny fasteners to make it a bit easier to pick up the droppings. The water flow beneath the solid tiles is the same as the FreeFlow, so no problem there. You can mix those tiles in any assortment of styles you like. Or easily change it later if you want.

I used free flow though out the main portion of my garage and Harley Davidson tiles in the tandem portion in the back. I am completely satisfied with my choice and love the free flow tiles.
