Went back to the estate sale to pick up a pocket knife I should have bought yesterday and it had been sold. To sooth my grief I decided to take another look around.
Came upon a battery charger(my old one went south awhile back)for $7.50 still in the original box.Didn't look like it had ever been used.Considering I got prices from 60-70 dollars for a new one this was a good buy.
On the tool table below it I found a Goodell-Pratt and a Millers Falls push drill with all 8 bits in each for 75 cents each. The Millers Falls handle(casein plastic)was covered with a white substance(deterioration)that cleaned off nicely. Also found 5 self-holding screwdrivers(2 Blue Point;3 unmarked except for a patent number)for 50 cents each.
But my prize catch was a Marbles #81 fish knife in pretty decent shape(for a 100 plus year old knife)for seventy five cents. In the condition it is in it is worth about $60 so I did alright.
