Slickdeals.net and a few other sites have reported that Walmart is an acceptable retailer for this rebate. You can call Mobil 1 and verify if retailers not listed on the form are acceptable.

That's great, but where do you get the rebate form?

But will you ever actually get the rebate back?? Probably 90% that I send in never come back. Kumho tires was the last one, still waiting, since last fall.

Purchased two filters from Amazon and two 5 qt. jugs from Walmart. Sent in the rebate form printed from the slickdeals thread the first week of September, and my $30 rebate check was mailed last Thursday.

Your rebate in the amount of $ 30.00 was mailed on September 25, 2014.

Please allow 14 days for delivery. Thank you.

This is great to know! I overlooked this deal earlier because I don't ever spend the extra $$$ on the EP filters and Wal-Mart's oil prices are so cheap that I don't even waste my time looking at other locations. I also didn't realize that you can get a $12 rebate if you omit the filter. SCORE

Yeah, and the M1 filters aren't that great supposedly, there are better filters for the money.

Yeah I spent an afternoon over on Bobistheoilguy and realized they weren't as praised as I expected. I've been using Pure One's for years without any issues.

My truck is due for an oil change in 500 miles. I think I'll go back to M1 for this deal. Thanks
