At the top it says $15 back for synthetic and filter, $12 back for synthetic, etc, but then at the bottom in fine print it says:

To receive a $15 rebate check, send original register receipt(s) showing proof of purchase(s) of five (5) quarts or more of any Mobil 1 motor oil and one (1) Mobil 1 Extended Performance Oil Filter or Mobil 1 Motorcycle Oil Filter.
To receive a $12 rebate check, send original register receipt(s) showing proof of purchase(s) of five (5) quarts or more of any Mobil 1 motor oil.
To receive a $9 rebate check, send original register receipt(s) showing proof of purchase(s) of five (5) quarts or more of any Mobil Super Synthetic motor oil.
To receive a $7 rebate check, send original register receipt(s) showing proof of purchase(s) of five (5) quarts or more of any Mobil Super motor oil.

See where it says any oil, any oil, then synthetic, and lastly super. So, I wonder if I could buy regular oil and get the $12 rebate.

Mobil1 is their flagship synthetic. It's not Mobil1 Super or Mobil1 Super Synthetic, it's just Mobil Super or Mobil Super Synthetic. See the difference? If you buy Mobil Super Synthetic, you will only receive the $9 rebate.

Is there a limit to how many 5 QT jugs you can purchase on a single receipt and still get the rebate? Fine print says 2 per household but then says something about "regardless of the amount."

Perfect timing, I just got my checks from the forms that I sent in waaaay back around Memorial Day! I'll use them to buy more oil.

Edit: walking through my local Meijers the other day I noticed that they had their Mobil 1 filters on sale.

Same here. The process time was extraordinarily long list time. I file two of these rebates every time with Walmart receipts and it goes through every time.

good to know!

do you file with 5-qt jugs or (5) 1-qt jugs? i've had them reject the former. but will try nonetheless.

I got my rebate check last week for a 5 quart jug. Going to pick up another soon for the next oil change. Can't beat it.

Perfect, ordered some oil for local pickup and will be paying $8 for each 5qt container after rebate! Trying the 0w-30 since it has some pretty impressive specs (thinner on start up than a 5W-30 and very low pour point, but thicker at operating temp than a 5W-30, and much higher resistance to shearing).

Autozone has 5 qts & M1 filter on sale for $32.99. You can buy discounted giftcards to use in store from cardcash.com at 23% off, and then get $15 back on rebate. Ends up costing around $12 for 5 qts and a filter with a limit of 2 rebates per household.

Just picked up mine yesterday. I'm trying 0W-40 and an extended oil filter in my 9-7x LS2. I'll still need to pick up a few extra qts since it takes 7 at a time.

Meijer's on sale Mobil 1 - $23 for 5 qt jug, $10 filter, mperks coupon $5, rebate $15.

I don't need it but a $13 Mobil 1 oil change is a steal and can go on the shelf.

edit: it will be a $15 oil change after tax, oil and filter at Meijer was $30.22, awesome deal.
