I recently found this ultra heavy duty cart on Craigslist and cannot find any identification of manufacturer. All I know is that it is stamped made in the U.S, very well made and is approximately 12 years old according to the previous owner. Dimensions are 49" in length, 30" in depth and 48" in height. The previous owner had no idea of its origin or intended use. Any ideas, I'm extremely curious to know what company produced it and for what purpose. Any ideas???

The shelf depth is what leads me to believe so BUT the shelves on the short sides of the kart are angled so maybe i'm wrong?

It looks like the mobile carts they use to sell books on during the holidays in Charlotte in the main buildings downtown

I paid $50.00 for it. I couldn't pass it up. It has been gathering dust the past 12 years. researched and cannot find anything. I have looked at numerous sights that supply or manufacture such items and cannot find a thing. I too believe it could have been used as a library cart, but the Red color kind of dispels that theory in my opinion. The shelves are 16 gauge and it has a 1 1/4" inner frame supporting the uprights and the base is .093 thick with heavy casters.

Looks very similar to the carts the "Scholastic Book Sales" use when they go school to school. Carts are preloaded with books and misc. items and rolled into the school prior to the sale. Back onto the truck at the end of the day and off to the next school the next day.
